Within this profile name you will encounter contemporary improvised and boundless jazz music played by the leading exponents of both the Danish and European jazz scenes. In JazzAspect the keywords are uncompromising, concentration and experimentation from the more acoustic recesses of jazz. JazzAspect presents an ideal forum where more exclusive jazz can flourish.  Each month, Copenhagen JazzHouse will choose a different player to curate some of the concert dates, relying on personal connections and tastes rather than demo tapes.

Lundin is an incredible powerhouse on the progressive European jazz scene.  Lundin’s sound on the tenor is recognized as being extremely beautiful and possesses an original expression that very, very few players worldwide ever get close to. He is co-leading this band with singer/guitarist Trinelise Væring.
With a fistful of new songs as a result of a stay in music mecca Austin Texas and a brand new release under their belts, Trinelise Væring and Frederik Lundin guest JazzHouse with their combined band Offpiste Gurus.  They’ve formulated their own nordic jazz- blues- roots- and rock-tinged music. Due to a reception, the doors will first be open at 20:30.

 

Free admission for all members of the Copenhagen JazzHouse society.
